HERE COMES THE SUN
"A flower blossoms for its own joy." Oscar Wilde
"Some old-fashioned things like fresh air and sunshine are hard to beat." - Laura Ingalls Wilder
‘Here Comes the Sun’ is a perfect ode to Springtime and an ode to change and the theme of this exhibit of my dad’s oil and acrylics. This all-new exhibit features paintings done in oil. My dad painted in this medium for years prior to his watercolor and pen and ink days. When he would travel to Europe with his art class, in the earlier years before the advancement of phone cameras, he’d do plein air “quick studies” using oils for reference for future paintings. These studies are incredible and beautiful and insightful. Enjoy the all new exhibit and all new prints and mini prints available. And here’s to new beginnings in change of season and the prospects of a new day and a fresh start! Happy Spring.
