OIL AND ACRYLICS

I am so excited to share this exhibit with you all as we pass the one year anniversary of losing my dad. As hard as it is to believe he’s been gone for this long, his art definitely helps keep me connected with him, as well as honor his incredible talent. I know he would be thrilled to share these paintings with all of you. This Spring I’m featuring my dad’s oil paintings. When he first started taking painting classes with Anthony, in the early 90s, he would go to Anthony’s studio each week, which was primarily painting ‘still life’ and ‘models’ in oil. He later painted in oil and acrylic, plein air, during his trips to Italy with Anthony’s class. He by far has painted the most art in this medium. This is the art medium that most reminds me of him, and helps me stay connected and inspired. He continued painting in oil and acrylic even once he started up the watercolors. This exhibit is a small representation of the variety of oil paintings he’s painted over the years. The prints available are stunning. Enjoy this exhibit in his honor!
